Tourist places at Karkala

Gummata Betta (Chaturmukha Basadi) - This is one of the famous tourist spot in karkala. It is just 1.5 kms approximately from the main bus stand and situated on the rock hill. Here there is a famous statue of Gomateshwara.The statue of Bahubali is of 42 feet. In front of the statue there is a Brahmadeva Pillar situated at the entrance of the temple there is a 25 feet Maana Sthambha which was constructed on 29/2/1436.This is also called as Maana Yaksha Stambha.

Padutirupathi Temple also called as Sri Venkataramana Swamy Temple built in 1450
